Hey Blog Readers! Kyle here filling in for Cameron. Who is this "Kyle" you ask? Well, you've seen me by now in Slap the Dickens: Episode 1, Slap the Dickens: Episode 2, Poppyseed Lane 1, & Poppyseed Lane 3. You've heard me singing for the Slap the Dickens Trailer as well as voice-overs for Story Time with Omi. What you haven't seen or heard is all the behind-the-scenes work I do with sound and lighting. That's right, I'm the infamous, yet little known, "first-assistant-helper-and-all-around-go-to-guy" for Muddy Yellow Sneakers. (Seriously guys, can I please have a cooler title? How about 'Awesome Guy #1'- just a thought.)
I can already hear the questions flying: What happened to Cameron, Todd, and Jeremy? Is everything ok? When are they coming back? Did I remember to start the dishwasher? Where's the best place to hide out in the event of a zombie apocalypse? Calm down. They're busy making more videos for you guys. Everything is fine. They'll be back soon. No, but paper plates will work fine tonight. I recommend barricading yourself inside Target (they have food, clothing, and an assortment of weapons.) Now that we have that all sorted out, It's time to get to the point of today's blog post:
Pictures. They're waaay more interesting than anything I've written so far. As we get ready to launch the new website, we realized that some pictures and artwork were going to be necessary. With that in mind, Todd and I set out on a day of fun-filled picture making! We thought you'd enjoy a taste of what's in store until the site is up, along with some behind-the-scenes pictures documenting our adventure.
We started out driving up towards Mt. Baldy, where we found a couple of fun locations. In order to get the above shot, Todd had to brave a potential fall into ice-cold water:
(You may notice that the shoes in all our behind-the-scene shots are gray. I assure you that it's just your imagination and the final images were not altered or enhanced in any way.)
As we drove down the mountain, Todd spotted this amazing field:
After a quick lunch break, we headed out to Newport Beach to snag these next few shots:
We reluctantly rushed home from the beach to snag a few more closer to home- like this one in Ontario:
Not content to let Todd be the only one to face danger, I got down and dirty for this last shot:

And there you go! A brief look at one of the many things we do to hopefully make your life a little more fun. We have a few more photos you can see now if you become a fan of Muddy Yellow Sneakers on Facebook, but you'll have to wait until the website goes live in a month or so to see all of them!
-Kyle-
Finally someone updated the blog! Kyle, the pictures look really good! I really like the ones at the beach!
